Dear Brothers and Sisters in Jesus Christ, Blessing and Inauguration of Santhome Snehatheeram Old age home is on 26th April 2009, Sunday 3 p.m.. Blessing by Rt.Rev.Mar James Pazhayattil, Most Rev.Dr.Lawrence Pious will preside and Mr.V.M.Thomas,JMD, Johnson Lifts Pvt.Ltd. will inaugurate.

Everybody longs to be loved and cared, especially when they are aged, when they cannot to everything by themselves. Santhome Snehatheeram is a home of love for the aged destitute. Promoted by St. Thomas Pastorl Centre, Ayanavaram, it functions under the aegis of a non-profitable, non-religious, non-political Trust named Santhome Charitable Trust. It is situated at Pinchivakkam village of Thiruvallur District of Tamilnadu State.

We all wish to live and die with dignity. There is an innate longing in every heart to be cared for - a longing that begins with our own existence, continues to grow with our growth and ends its journey with us when we breathe our last.

As one needs to be cared for, everyone has the potential to care for. Snehatheeram is a place where we provide home care for lod people especially for the desitute irrespective of caste, careed and religion.
